-- Stylinity’s Platform Enables Fans to Click-To-Purchase Fashion Products Worn by Players Directly From Selfies --

NEW YORK, August 5, 2014– NFL players are recognized for their fashion sense off the field, and now their social media followers will have the ability to share their style. NFL Players Inc. (NFLPI), the marketing and licensing arm of the NFL Players Association, and Stylinity, the first social commerce platform to make Selfies shoppable, announced today a licensing agreement that will allow NFL players to share their fashion styles on social media and enable fans to purchase their favorite “looks” simply by clicking on products in the photos.

Fans who like the items their favorite player is wearing can simply click on the “I Want It” button in the Shoppable Selfie, and the product(s) will be added to their e-commerce shopping cart on the participating brand’s website. Stylinity’s groundbreaking technology remakes the online fashion marketplace into a social shopping experience, providing an easy way for retail brands to connect with players, develop relationships with consumers and track sales driven by players’ shared images. NFLPI is the first partner within Stylinity’s celebrity division.

“Social commerce is poised to grow exponentially. Now style-conscious NFL players will help drive that growth, by sharing their favorite styles and inspiring their fans on social media via Shoppable Selfies that will deliver revenue for brand partners. And the brands will have unparalleled data, with the ability to see which picture drove which sale,” said Tadd Spering, CEO of Stylinity.

“We’re always seeking new and different ways for players to expand their marketability and connect with their fans,” said Steve Scebelo, NFLPI Vice President, Licensing and Business Development. “Teaming up with an emerging company like Stylinity allows players to stay on the cutting edge of new and innovative technology while leveraging our ability to strengthen personal brands.”
