Healthy Babies Program

Receive valuable incentives and resources to help you and your spouse prepare for parenthood by enrolling in the NFL Player Insurance Plan Healthy Babies Program, at no cost to you. Unmarried significant others are also encouraged to enroll to take advantage of knowledgeable experts and a Nurse Advocate, although they will not be eligible for incentives.

Healthy Babies Program benefits include:

  • Up to $600 in reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses if enrolled within the first 14 weeks of pregnancy ($300 in enrolled in weeks 15-28 of pregnancy).*
  • Access to your own NFL Healthy Babies Nurse Advocate and speciality case management for high-risk pregnancies**
  • Support for mom, dad and little one during pregnancy and following your baby’s birth.

Work/Life Resources

Receive 100% confidential support

Your mental health and wellness impact your health. Through Cigna Healthcare’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) network, you, your eligible dependents, and household members have access to work/life resources and licensed clinicians to support a variety of concerns.

EAP benefits include:

  • All of what you share is kept 100% confidential. The NFL, NFLPA and NFL Clubs are not aware of who uses this Cigna Healthcare service.
  • Get up to eight (8) free counseling sessions (virtual or in-person), per topic per year, as outlined in the Summary Plan Description, with a licensed clinician in Cigna Healthcare’s EAP network. Topics include personal and family relationships, stress/anxiety, alcohol and substance use, and more.
  • Get educational materials on almost any life concerns.
  • Available to you, your eligible dependents and household members.
  • Professional counseling is conveniently available in-person or virtually on your phone, tablet or computer.
